His Promises

Whatever you carry today, Scripture speaks

The Bible is not an ancient relic — it is the living voice of God, speaking into exactly where you are right now.

Today I feel…

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
Matthew 11:28–29
A man dressed in flowing white robes in a bright green field with a group of children sitting on the grass around him listening — a father standing beside a boy who points straight at the man in white, with parents and two additional families standing farther back, fathers pointing toward the man in white while their children look up at them — surrounded by gentle forest animals: deer, rabbits, raccoons, squirrels, and turtles, under a sky of glowing golden clouds

The Greatest Story Ever Told

One story, four movements

The gospel — the word means “good news” — is the true story of what God has done to bring us home. It unfolds in four movements.

01

Loved

“God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.”Genesis 1:31

You are not an accident. The God who set the stars in place also formed you — deliberately, wonderfully, in His own image. Before anything in this world went wrong, you were known, wanted, and loved.

02

Lost

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”Romans 3:23

Every one of us has turned to our own way. Sin is more than the mistakes we count — it is a separation from the holy God who made us, a distance no effort, religion, or good deed of ours can close. “The wages of sin is death.” (Romans 6:23)

03

Rescued

“While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”Romans 5:8

God did not wait for us to climb back to Him — He came down to us. Jesus, fully God and fully man, lived the sinless life we could not live, then took our place on the cross and bore the judgment we deserved. This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us first.

04

Raised

“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.”Matthew 28:6

The tomb is empty — death did not win. Jesus rose bodily on the third day, defeating sin and the grave once for all. His resurrection is God’s unbreakable promise that everyone who trusts in Him will live also: forgiven, restored, and alive forever.

Who Is Jesus?

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”John 14:6

Two thousand years ago, in the hills of Galilee, a carpenter’s son spoke words no one had ever spoken — and backed them with a life no one had ever lived. He healed the broken, welcomed the outcast, forgave sinners, and claimed to be God in the flesh. Then He proved it by walking out of His own grave.

Jesus is not a legend, a mere teacher, or one path among many. He is the Son of God — the Savior the world was promised, and the hope your heart was made for.

The Invitation

How do I respond?

Eternal life is not earned — it is received. God holds out the gift of forgiveness and new life to you today, freely, because of Jesus. Here is how to take His hand.

Admit

Romans 3:23

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Agree with God that you have sinned and need a Savior. Honesty is the doorway to grace.

Believe

Acts 16:31

“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.”

Trust that Jesus died for your sins and rose again. Salvation is a gift received by faith — never earned.

Call

Romans 10:13

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Turn to Him in prayer, right where you are. He is near, and He hears you.

A prayer to begin

“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I need You. I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I turn from my own way and trust You as my Savior and Lord. Come into my life, forgive me, and make me new. Thank You for loving me. Amen.”

Prayer is not a formula — it is the beginning of a relationship. If these words are the cry of your heart, God hears you, and heaven rejoices (Luke 15:10).
